I have been a fan of Dr. Bronner’s Pure-Castile Liquid Soap for many, many years. My best friend introduced me to it when we were in college and I have been using it ever since. Seriously —  Dr. Bronner’s is being modest when they advertise it as an 18 in 1 soap:  I promise you its list of uses is infinite. Hello, Pinterest!

I love that my family and I can take one small bottle of Dr. Bronner’s Peppermint on our camping trips and do everything from washing our dishes, our clothes, our bodies, our hair (although be sure to bring conditioner) to brushing our teeth (perfectly safe, but a little bit soapy) and keeping away pests (mix soap, water and cayenne pepper in a spray bottle). How cool is that?!

At home, we use it as an all-purpose cleaner in the shower, for countertops, and for floors. If we had a dog, we would use it to wash Rover too (I don’t think our cat would appreciate it much…the soap or a dog)! Using one product for multiple things also cuts down on cabinet clutter.

Dr. Bronner’s comes in seven different sizes, from 2 oz. to 1 gallon, and eight standard scents, Almond, Citrus (my husband’s favorite), Eucalyptus, Lavender (my favorite), Peppermint (great for a tingly pick-me-up), Rose, Tea Tree and Baby Unscented (though it’s not tear-free, so be extra careful). They also recently released two limited-edition scents, Cherry Blossom and Green Tea. I am definitely putting Cherry Blossom on my Mama-time wishlist! I love a good soak in a Dr. Bronner’s and epsom salt.

All of these awesome things aside, my favorite thing about this soap is that it is pure and safe for my family and the environment. It is made with organic, certified fair-trade ingredients and packaged in a 100% post-consumer recycled bottle. I don’t have to worry about any nasty, harmful chemicals on my family’s skin or my home’s surfaces.
